Asterisk®-based Appliance features quick implementation

The new E&M Appliance from Amtelco XDS is a small, compact highly cost-effective system containing a highly configurable Asterisk® telephony platform with a single 4-wire E&M
connection and a single Ethernet port.

The Appliance can be used as a VoIP gateway using SIP capabilities of Asterisk to connect to radios. Type l, ll, lV and V are supported. There are two RJ45 connections, one for the E&M connection and the other for a local 10/100 Ethernet connection. There are LED indicators for E-lead and M-lead activity.

The Appliance comes right out of the box with hardware and software preinstalled and ready to configure for your needs. It is a VoIP gateway, which allows you to bring an E&M connection into your existing VoIP environment and connect with radios.

The Appliance includes an E&M connection interface, Asterisk, power supply with country specific plug adapters, a 32 Gigabyte flash card...and an opportunity for you to interface with radios and customize your application with Asterisk.

The T1/E1 appliance from Amtelco XDS is a small, compact, highly cost effective system containing a highly configurable Asterisk® telephony platform with a single T1/E1 span and a single Ethernet port. The appliance can be used as a VoIP gateway using the SIP capabilities of Asterisk. Amtelco’s highly successful T1/E1 protocols are used for the T1/E1 span. There are two RJ45 connections, one for the T1 or E1 span interface, and the other for a local 10/100 Ethernet connection.

If you need to add T1 or E1 capabilities into your VoIP system then this new appliance from XDS is the perfect solution!

The Appliance comes right out of the box with hardware and software preinstalled and ready to configure for your needs. A few of the many possible applications for this appliance are:

  1. T1 or E1 to VoIP gateway - allows you to bring a T1 or E1 span into your existing VoIP environment
  2. VoIP PBX with T1 or E1 telecom input
  3. Any other Asterisk based switching application requiring T1 or E1 input Some of the capacity of the included Flash Memory card could be used for local bulk data storage.

The appliance includes the system processor, T1/E1 Interface, Asterisk, power supply with country-specific plug adapters and a 32 Gigabyte flash card….and an opportunity for you to add to and/or customize your application.
XDS HMP 2/4-Wire E&M Board

The XDS HMP 2/4-Wire E&M board is designed to provide up to four 2-wire or 4-wire E&M interfaces for use in PC-based telephony systems. The board is:
  • A compact size, Asterisk compliant, and very competitively priced!
  • Available in PCI or PCI Express formats
  • Available in a 4-port configuration
  • Available with or without echo cancelation

Due to continuing customer requests for a high density enhanced conferencing board, Amtelco XDS has your solution!

The XDS Infinity Series H.100 Resource Board (#257L167) has:
  • Five hundred and twelve (512) conference inputs, and two hundred and fifty four (254) conference handles
  • Four (4) line level audio inputs which can be used for announcements or music on hold and are accessible via four (4) jacks on the rear of the board, eliminating the need for PCI slot connectors
  • Two hundred and fifty six (256) voice resource channels, allowing recording and playback of audio files to and from the H.100 bus
  • Single slot full length H.100 PCI form factor
  • For high density applications, up to sixteen (16) boards can be added to a chassis
