XDS HMP PCI 4-Port 2/4-Wire E&M Board!
If you have an application requiring interfacing to radios,
then this is the solution.
The features of this new board include:
- Asterisk Compliant
- Universal 32-Bit 66 MHz PCI Interface (3.3V and 5V signaling)
- Audio transfer via DTMF for high efficiency
- Four Channel
- Per-port software selectable 2-wire or 4-wire audio interface
- Per-port software selectable Type I, Type IV, and Type V Interfaces
- Requires +3.3V and +5V PC power supplies only
- External connections via RJ45 jacks
- Optional hardware echo cancelation (only used for 2-wire mode)
- Hardened technology for reliability
- Compact size
- Lower cost
- Also available in the PCI Express format

- In Italy, they are using XDS 2/4-Wire E&M with XDS BRI Boards for a new wireless meter-reading system.
- In the UK, a new prison communications system has been deployed using XDS PCI Express Station Boards.
- In the US, three new applications are being developed using XDS 2/4-Wire E&M Boards. These include a new ship-to-shore communications system, a new mini defense communications system, and an enhanced 911 emergency communications system.
