OUR YEAR END RECITAL DATES ARE NOW SET:
- Saturday, June 24th for group classes & their individual students with siblings in those classes
- Sunday, June 25th for the rest of individual students
RE-ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN!

Some reminders:
Students participating in exams this year need to submit their registration form by February 28th. Exam time slot booking will open in mid-March so look out for an upcoming announcement.
Our advanced level Yamaha students have been working hard on their original compositions and we can't wait to show you! Anyone is welcome to join us for their performance!

Please note the following deadlines:
- Current group classes and individual lesson times will be held until Monday, May 1st.
- Yamaha group re-enrollment: early bird pricing available until Monday, May 1st
- Group class transfer requests will be processed starting Monday, May 2nd
- Classes with low enrollment will be consolidated starting Monday, May 9th

Calling all composers!!
We are so excited to announce that we will be offering a new composition masterclass group program in the 2023-2024 academic year!
Under the instruction of our teachers Ms. Alondra and Mr.D who hold a master of music composition, students will learn everything about composing and playing the songs of their own creative imagination!!
Last Sunday we sent out an email providing course progression and schedule details!

You may have heard that we are offering a Jazz group class with Mr. Alex!
As a group, Jazz students learn how to play, improvise, and write Jazz tunes! This is a great alternative music program for students who already have some playing experience including: JAC4 & up // RCM 5 &up // PianoForte 9 & up

Our Yamaha students from the advanced level have been working hard to prepare their class original compositions for our upcoming Composition concert!
This year, they have been tasked with choosing a painting by the local artist and art-teacher, Natalia Ushakova, to wich they had to create a story and write the music to convey their story.
Join us to watch the painting coming to life through music.

Through gentle rhyme and using a variety of everyday scenarios, including school drop off, mommy's doctor appointment, and even separation at bedtime, little ones are reminded that "Mommy always comes back to you."
Friends since medical school, Christine Yeung and Anna Liang are both practicing family physicians. They each have a family with two young boys, who are the inspiration for this book. When the boys started preschool they wanted a book to help them with their feelings of anxiety. They hope this book will help your child and become a favorite in your home.

The 88Keys community is full of talented students… and parents! Jen Wong is the author of a kid’s mandarin book series called “I Can Read Mandarin”.
Her beautifully illustrated picture books are focused on helping kids learn basic Mandarin words.
Her first and second book, “I Can Read Mandarin… Colours & Numbers” and “I Can Read Mandarin… Fruits & Vegetables” are now listed on Amazon & Indigo!

Local author and illustrator, Patricia Wong, is excited to share her debut book "Finding Hello"!
"This book was inspired by my son. 88 Keys played an instrumental role in developing my son’s confidence. He was a timid boy who learned to overcome his anxieties. He used to be so nervous performing in front of his peers, but after years of positive reinforcement at the school, he now volunteers to play with confidence! He truly loves being at 88 Keys; it’s a welcoming place with teachers that genuinely love what they do. I am excited to contribute a portion of the proceeds of the book to 88 Keys to support the important musical community the school has created."
