The Ethel S. Abbott Sports Complex is pleased to announce our partnership with Don Beebe’s House of Speed.  As a part of our effort to provide the best possible facilities, coaches and overall developmental opportunities for the athletes and families here at the sports complex, we have invited Don Beebe’s House of Speed to join our family.  With over 25 years of combined Division I competitive experience and over 50 years of combined coaching, our Management Team understands that better athletes translate to better performance on the court and field.  We are tremendously excited to be able to offer our athletes and their families this opportunity to work with such a highly respected organization. 

Founded and run by a 6 time Super Bowl player, Don Beebe has opened his first franchise in Nebraska.  Don retired with some of the fastest forty-yard dash clockings ever recorded.  He has passed down his legacy to House of Speed, which is devoted to improving athletic performance and character for participants in all sports.

House of Speed offers Private Training, Weekly Clinics, Small Group Training, and Speed Camps for all ages and levels, as well as Combine Training for high school, college, and professional athletes.  Training includes three unique tools that give its athletes an edge: The PowerPull™ to develop horizontal acceleration, The Bear™ to boost vertical explosiveness, and Dartfish™, a high-tech video analysis system that helps identify fine points for improvement.

Dean and Karen DeBoer have partnered with the Abbott Sports Complex to bring an elite level of speed, explosiveness and sport specific training to Lincoln, NE.  Their elite training staff consists of former Husker athletes who played football, volleyball and softball.  They will bring that elite level of expertise to their training in specialized programs geared towards those sports.  Click Here  for the House of Speed-Lincoln website. 

On Thursday May 17th, Lincoln will come together for Give to Lincoln Day, sponsored by the Lincoln Community Foundation.  We need YOU to join us!  It's 24-hours of unprecedented giving to non-profits.  It's your chance to help make a real difference, right here in our community.

All proceeds from the Give to Lincoln Day will go to benefit the Abbott Scholarship Program and help fund NEW TURF for the Indoor Center remodel later this summer.  Show your support through the Give to Lincoln Day, and your gift will be increased by helping us get a proportional share of the $200,000 challenge match fund. 

We ask for your consideration in helping with three things:
