Reapplying for Tax- Exempt Status |
Chapters need to be mindful regarding the yearly filing of
Form 990N. The online report is due
annually no later than the 15th day of the fifth month following the
chapter’s year end. The chapter will
need to have the Federal EIN and the year end date at the time of filing. The EIN and the year end date are listed on
the upper right corner of the chapter’s Charter Reaffirmation.
To file the Form 990N a current officer needs to go online. There is information available to
assist you during the filing process.
If you want to view the prior year filings for your chapter, click here. You can provide your chapter’s EIN and it
will generate your chapter’s information regarding prior year filings.

Dear Subscriber
Welcome back to school! Hopefully you had a fun and safe summer vacation and you're excited to be back on campus. As you get back into the swing of things, be sure to spread the word about APO to the new friends you meet in your residence halls, classes, and other campus organizations! It's much easier to recruit people who you already know represent the ideals of APO rather than a stranger who may or may not have what the chapter is looking for in a brother.
And, when you're recruiting, don't forget to mention the great leadership development opportunities APO offers. APO LEADS, for example, is full of excellent leadership tools that apply far beyond the Fraternity. Good luck this year and keep up the great work! Torch Topics Editorial Team

your video for the September Video of the Month. Simply post your video to
