Wanted: APO IMPACT Live Volunteers

The APO IMPACT Committee is looking for alumni volunteers to assist with the live sessions scheduled throughout the school year. The two jobs needed most are producers and moderators. Both producers and moderators will come to understand how to use the GoTo Webinar software. The producer position will answer questions behind the scenes and help students in a variety of ways. The moderator will help the content presenter by interacting with them over the course of the presentation and help bring students questions to the presenter. If you are interested in either of these positions, please e-mail Heather Lehman at heather@apo.org

Wanted:  APO LEADS Launch Online Volunteers

Launch Online has been a tremendous success this school year with seven out of eight sessions for the year presented to more than 1,000 participants total.  Next school year we will be looking to host more sessions in order to allow more members to participate.  To meet the increasing demand for Launch Online, we need your help!  You can be a presenter at any level (apprentice, staff, or director). Each session requires a minimum of two presenters, and three per session is ideal. In addition to the presenters there is one person (a producer) who is scheduled to handle the behind the scenes stuff. If you are already a trained presenter for Launch and are interested in helping out with next year’s Launch Online sessions, please e-mail Heather Lehman at heather@apo.org

Dear

Hooray! Spring is finally here and beautiful weather is on its way. Spring is the perfect time to give back to your favorite organization or cause. Chapters nationwide will be doing just that starting April 20-22, as they take part in APO's Spring Youth Service Day event. Check back in May to see the results of this amazing APO national service event!

This issue of Alumni Connection features information on becoming an online presenter through APO LEADS and APO IMPACT, a listing of this year's Youth Service Grant recipients, information on nominating a deserving brother as the 2012 Fall Pledge Class Namesake Honoree.

There is a lot going on in APO this spring. Find a way to contribute to advancing the mission of Alpha Phi Omega. Even the smallest contribution can make a difference.

Enjoy the beautiful weather!
