FAR Grant Application Deadline is 5/1!!!
The application for the 2012 Friendship and Retention Grant is now available. This grant gives chapters money for fellowship events that strengthen the bonds of brotherhood. This event will bring chapter members closer. Inviting alumni and inactive brothers to participate also allows brothers to reconnect with old friends. The application deadline is May 1, 2012. 2012 Youth Service Grant Recipients Announced
Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity is pleased to announce that 27 chapters across the nation have been awarded a 2012 Alpha Phi Omega Youth Service Grant.
The Youth Service Grant program provides funds for Alpha Phi Omega chapters that are seeking assistant for Spring Youth Service Day projects, which are socially positive service projects for pre-college age youth. The chapters submit applications and project ideas for review and are then selected based on the impact their projects will have on the youth in their community.

John Mack Scholarship Apps Due 5/1
Do you exhibit participation and leadership in extracurricular activities to benefit those in need and/or charitable and/or humanitarian organizations? You should apply for the John Mack Scholarship!
The John Mack Scholarship Award is a scholarship for members that exhibit leadership and participation in extracurricular activities to benefit charitable or humanitarian organizations, or more simply – organizations in need. Recipients of the Mack Scholarship are awarded funding to put toward their educational expenses at their current university, as well as a place on the John Mack Scholarship Award plaque in the National Office.

Alpha Phi Omega's Spring Youth Service Day (which can also be thought of as, "Spring Youth Service Weekend") is on April 20-22, 2012 (although alternative dates during the spring semester are acceptable; April 20-22 corresponds with the National program of our partner organizations). SYSD is Alpha Phi Omega's way of participating in the largest service event in the world.

The APO IMPACT Team is excited to announce a new format for the APO IMPACT content. Some of the APO IMPACT Live Webinars are now available as a workshop, so you can have the same great content you heard online last fall at your sectional conference this spring! All materials will be provided to the person requesting the workshop, including a PowerPoint with key discussion questions about the topic, background information on the topic, and sign in and evaluations forms.
