CONNECT WITH YOUR APO BROTHERS....
VOLUME I, ISSUE III - NOVEMBER 2012
Greetings! ,

Congratulations on a successful 2012 National Service Week and for surviving the November 15 AAMD and Charter Reaffirmation deadline! If your chapter has not submitted a National Service Week Report or completed its AAMD and Charter Reaffirmation through the Office Portal, it is important that you do so ASAP! This report can affect your "good standing" with the Fraternity and, in turn, your chapter's voting delegates at the Convention.

The 2012 National Convention is getting VERY CLOSE! If you haven't registered yet, be sure to do so by December 12, as this is the last day to register online.

This issue will reiterate some important chapter business needing to be handled this time of year, as well as prepare you for the Convention. Feel free to email publications@apo.org with any questions you have regarding this newsletter.

As you may have already experienced, all of these accounts are completely true! The National Convention will supply fond memories, and the chapter and personal skills you learn during workshops will prove beneficial for years to come.

All Chapters Must File with the Internal Revenue Service

Each year, all chapters or alumni associations must file a 990-N also known as the e-Postcard.  All chapters must file the e-Postcard by the 15th day of the 5 month from the chapter’s year end if the chapter has gross receipts greater than $50,000.
