Dear Subscriber

Hopefully fall has gotten off to a good start with both school and APO activities. As you start to bring pledges into your chapter and introduce them to the Fraternity, take a few minutes to look over your pledge program and make sure it follows our National Pledge Standards.

Also, with a new year, comes a new opportunity to earn the Chapter of Excellence and/or Pledge Program of Excellence awards. Review the requirements and take those deadlines into consideration as you flesh out your chapter's calendar.

Good luck this semester!

Balancing APO and Academics
Participation in Alpha Phi Omega is a huge part of your collegiate experience, but it shouldn't come at the expense of earning  your degree. Keeping APO and a demanding academic schedule balanced is difficult, but it can be done. For more information about how chapters can help promote academic success, click here .
Help the DEA with Red Ribbon Week 2011
