Tomorrow is the last day to register for the next Stepping On class, an evidence-based program to help reduce falls:Stepping On: Friday mornings, Aug. 2 to Sept. 13This is a free class to help build confidence and reduce your risk of falling. The next class is offered Aug. 2 to Sept. 13, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. each Friday morning at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. It is offered collaboratively with the Partnership for Healthy Aging. Summer 2013Welcome, Dr. Jodi Punke, new Aspirus Senior Health Medical DirectorJodi Punke, DO, recently started her role as the Aspirus Senior Health Medical Director.She describes her first exposure to geriatrics when she was a child, visiting her great-grandmother. "I didn’t realize at the time how unique she was. She lived in her own home, on her own, until she was 96 and then moved into a nursing home.
