BSI Opens Up Support for HTML5 and Apple iOS Devices
online learning

We are happy to announce that we now are BETA testing our HTML5 version of our BioSig-ID software for identity proofing here on our site.

BSI delivers our technology as a web service - meaning no additional hardware or software needed, making our solution a low-cost, easy to deploy choice to verify "who" is accessing your systems and can be used on mobile devices (smart phones, tablets), laptops and desktops.

Why HTML5? This is the 5th version of HTML and it aims to improve support for the latest multimedia devices while keeping it readable by humans and understood by computers and devices without having to resort to proprietary plugins and APIs. This new technology requirement is the business driver for BSI to support HTML5 for future compatibility issues.

Apple computer iPhone and iPad users will be able to use the BSI BioSig-ID application to verify their identity when our BETA testing period ends in January 2012 release of our next version.

If you'd like to test it out  click here to try it out and let us know how it worked for you.

Across the world, educational institutions are embracing the convenience provided by one-card solutions that provide multiple functions, including identify management; secure access; library and other services; and on- and off-campus financial transactions for students, staff and vendor contractors.

In this session, university security directors will discuss the integration of a single-card solution in their institutions and outline the benefits realized in terms of reduced costs; increased student purchasing power and convenience; greater flexibility in the management of resources; and improved management of student, staff and vendor information and interaction. Additionally, participants will learn about an exciting new software-based biometric identification technology that can be seamlessly added to a single card to provide multi-factor student authentication and can be applied to non-education settings for secure online banking, healthcare records access and any other identify verification for Internet-based transactions.
