Message from CMC North President - Rebecca Lewis

Thank you for attending the CMC North Conference at Asilomar in Pacific Grove last weekend. The conference was a huge success because of you, our speakers, and numerous volunteers. Download the conference app from http://event.confplusapp.com/cmcn16/ Speaker handouts can be found on the conference app and can be emailed to yourself for viewing and printing through your computer. If you were a speaker and want to make your handouts and/or presentation available, please post them through the app as well.

If you haven't done so, please complete the conference evaluation by December 31 to be entered into the drawing for a free conference registration and on grounds housing to next year's conference.
The Communicator Wins Prestigious Award

Congratulations to Janet Trentacosta, her panel and all of the people who have contributed articles. At its November 2016 meeting, the NCTM Affiliate Relations Committee reviewed and selected the California Mathematics Council's The Communicator for the 2017 Publication Award for outstanding journal.

Thank you for your dedication to keeping us well informed and our classrooms supplied with math reasoning tasks and games!
Very well deserved!
