رسالة مهمة للطلاب الليبيين المبتعثين للدراسة في الساحتين الأمريكية
والكندية عن طريق وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي

يرجى العلم بأن المكتب الكندي للتعليم الدولي سوف يقوم بإيقاف تفعيل ملفات الطلاب الجدد بشكل مؤقت حتى إشعار آخر
وكما هو معروف فإن الوضع الحالي في ليبيا قد أثر على قدرة الحكومة الليبية في تحويل مستحقات و حقوق الطلاب المبتعثين لامريكا وكندا. و هذا يشمل الطلاب الجدد الذين مازالوا في ليبيا و على اتم الاستعداد للسفر و الطلاب الذين وصلوا لامريكا وكندا خلال العام الماضي
لقد سبب التأخير في استلام الميزانية صعوبات و معاناة شديدة للطلاب اللذين وصلوا لامريكا وكندا مسبقاً و الذي تم تفعيل ملفاتهم خلال السنة الماضية. مما أدى الى وقوع الطلاب في مشاكل في التسجيل لدى المعاهد والجامعات و مشاكل في دائرة الهجرة وفي المعيشة اليومية
كما أن التأخير في استلام ميزانيات الرسوم الدراسية للسنة الدراسية الحالية والتأمين الصحي منذ شهرأغسطس الماضي يؤثرعلى إمكانية البرنامج في مساعدة الطلاب الجدد
نود أن نؤكد أن المكتب الكندي يهتم كثيراً بمصلحة الطلاب و لهذا قام بإتخاذ هذه الاجراءات الطارئة بشكل مؤقت حتى يتم تحويل ميزانيات البرنامج من قبل الوزارة
ننصح جميع الطلاب بعدم السفر الى امريكا و كندا حتى يقوم المكتب الكندي بإعلان إعادة عملية تفعيل الملفات
أما بالنسبة للطلاب الجدد الذين سيختارون السفر إلى أمريكا و كندا في هذه الفترة، يجب أن يحضروا معهم ما يكفي من الأموال لتغطية إحتياجاتهم المعيشية والمصاريف اليومية و رسوم الدراسة و التأمين الصحي
في الوقت الحالي، المكتب الكندي لا يستطيع تفعيل أي ملف طالب جديد و هذا القرار يشمل جميع الطلاب المدرجة أسماءهم في قوائم التفويضات، سواء تم البدء بتسييل تفويضاتهم للمكتب الكندي أم لا

Important message to nominated students who are sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
to study in Canada and the US.

Effective immediately, please be advised that CBIE is temporarily placing on hold the activation of all new students until further notice.
The events on the ground in Libya have affected the Libyan Government’s capacity to transfer essential scholarship benefits for all scholarship students, including the budgets on behalf of nominated and new students.
The delay in receipt of these budgets is resulting in undue financial hardship for students and their families who have had their scholarships activated this past year, including complications related to their academic registration, immigration status and living conditions.
Furthermore, the delays in receiving essential scholarship budgets covering the cost of tuition fees for the 2014-2015 academic year, as well as health insurance since August 2014, further impact the program’s ability to assist our current active students.
With the best interest of the students in mind, CBIE is now required to take these additional temporary measures until the budgets are transferred on behalf of the scholarship program.
We advise all students not to travel to Canada or the US until such time that CBIE releases an update to confirm the reinstatement of the file activation process.
Nominated students who choose to travel to Canada or the US, should ensure that they bring enough funds with them to support themselves and their families, including tuition, health insurance and living expenses.
Effective immediately, CBIE will not be able to activate files for all new students including those who appear on Funded and Unfunded Tafweedat lists issued by the Ministry. Please keep monitoring our website for any updates regarding new developments.
