Important Update for Libyan Students in North America regarding
the Third Quarter MLA Funds

August 2nd, 2013

Dear Libyan Students in North America,

As was announced yesterday, CBIE is delighted to share with you the good news of receiving the transfer of funds for the third quarter Monthly Living Allowance (MLA).

Our finance department has now processed the July MLA for all eligible students in the United States and Canada (those who are listed on the Ministry’s third quarter list and active with CBIE).

You should receive your July allowance within 2-3 business days depending on the financial processing time of your bank. As well, the August 2013 MLA was transferred today to all eligible students in the U.S. (to be received in your accounts early next week), and it will be transferred on Tuesday to eligible students in Canada (keeping in mind Monday is a holiday in Canada).

Below please find more information regarding other related updates to your scholarship:

Self-Funded Decree 655: United States

CBIE received the Second Quarter funds for eligible Decree 655 students. The MLA will be processed next Tuesday and should be deposited in students’ bank accounts 2-3 business days later.
