Introducing your New Health Insurance Provider

Dear Libyan Students in North America,

The Libyan Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has selected UnitedHealthcare International as the new provider of medical, dental, vision, and prescription medication benefits for sponsored scholarship students and covered dependents, effective July 1, 2013.

As the largest health insurer in the United States, UnitedHealthcare International offers unmatched capabilities to connect you to quality care and the largest network of doctors and hospitals in the United States.

Benefits are similar to your current program. Click here to view your benefits summaries. You will also have access to enhancements such asthe Healthy Pregnancy Program and programs to help manage chronic diseases.

We encourage you to participate in one of two webinars scheduled for June 26 at 1:00 pm  and June 27 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time. You will receive further information on the webinars in our next communication. 

During the next few weeks, you will receive additional information including a personal welcome call, ID cards, a student welcome kit and a series of videos designed to help you make the most of your benefits.

Important note: on June 26, you will receive an email message from UnitedHealthcare International containing information needed to print a temporary identification card. If you do not receive it, please check your spam or junk folder and follow the instructions within the email.
