National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) is an annual event that brings attention to work zone safety. Large trucks and buses have limited maneuverability and large blind spots, which make driving in work zones more challenging for them. All road users can stay safe while traveling through these areas with these five tips from the Our Roads, Our Safety Partnership.

Storage would be at secure locations provided by the County.  Drivers could be provided by Jefferson County depending on circumstances.

Depending on the scale and type of the emergency, the request for these refrigerator trucks/vans will be by utilizing either the pre-written agreements or through a resource request from the Jefferson County Office of Emergency Management.
