FMCSA Announces Crash Preventability Program, Accepting Requests for Data Review to Evaluate Crash Preventability
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is accepting requests for data review into its Crash Preventability Demonstration Program through DataQs. The program allows FMCSA to gather data to examine the feasibility, costs and benefits of making crash preventability determinations. Information from the program will be used to evaluate if the preventability determinations improve the agency’s ability to identify highest-risk motor carriers.   Visit FMCSA website
