Brake Safety Week: August 20-26

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) partners with law enforcement annually to conduct additional brake inspections during Brake Safety Week. This year, it’s all about brake lining and pad issues that may result in vehicle violations and could affect a motor carrier’s safety rating.

Keeping road users and vehicles safe on our roads is a priority. Are you ready for inspection? Check out tips for large truck and bus drivers below.

 

Colorado Drivers Earn Top Honors at NTDC 

 

The National Truck Driving Championships took place in Columbus, OH last week and the 9 drivers from Colorado excelled.

 

Todd Flippin, FedEx Freight took 3rd in Twins Class (top left)

 

Tyler Rogers, FedEx Freight took 3rd in Sleeper Berth (top right)

 

Todd Flippin and David Mogler tied for High Point Written Test with 2 others.

 

Congratulations to all 9 drivers who competed!
