SAFETY TIP:
 
CARRYING CHAINS ON I-70: CMV's  driving on I-70 between
mileposts 133 (Dotsero) and 259 (C-470) from Sept. 1–May 31 must carry sufficient
chains at all times to be in compliance with the Colorado chain law. 
 
Please remind your driver to carry and use chains in any weather conditions that call for them, and where required on Colorado's roads.

The Maintenance Council of the Colorado Motor Carriers Association is proud to announce the 11th Annual Colorado TopTech Skills Competition.

 

This Competition is designed to test the skills of our local Technicians in multiple categories having to do with heavy duty maintenance. This competition will include a written test and several hands on work stations.

 

The Competition will be held on April 22, 2023, at the Lincoln College of Technology Denver Campus, located at 11194 E. 45th Ave. Denver, CO 80239. The Competition will begin at 7:00am.

 

The winners in the Professional and Student categories will win prizes.

New Seminar at CMCA: How to Prevent a Nuclear Verdict

May 24, 2023 from 9am-1pm at CMCA

 

NOTE: We have added an option to join over Zoom. 

 

CMCA is excited to welcome Doug Marcello, Esq., to present on the topic of Nuclear Verdicts. Learn what you can do as a company to protect yourself from nuclear verdicts: a verdict above $10 million. These verdicts are increasing in number rapidly for our industry, and Doug will help your company stay out of the courtroom, as well as help you prepare for the unthinkable of being in the courtroom.

Registration Now Open for Roadeo

    

The 2023 Colorado Truck Driving Championships will be held on Saturday, June 3rd.  Registration is now open.  

 

The Championships will once again be held at the Adams County Fairgrounds beginning with the Written Test at 7am.  Driving and Pre-Trip competition will begin approximately 9:30am.  This is a great family event and a perfect way for companies to showcase their drivers.

 

Facts for Drivers books for all entries have been ordered and should be available in the next week or so.  Contact patti@cmca.com with any questions.

 

In addition to drivers – we also need lots of volunteers, equipment donations and sponsorships.  Please let us know if you can help.
