Please remind drivers to wear seat belts properly!

A safety belt is the most important in-cab safety device in the event of an accident.

Colorado’s Port of Entry has reported an uptick in citations for drivers not wearing their seat belts. Note that safety belts need to be properly used to restrain the driver and passenger if applicable in case of a crash or a sudden stop. Remind drivers today of the importance of proper wearing of seat belts

.

If you would like to learn more, see what resources are available, or purchase high visibility seat belt covers, contact Kate at CMCA at kate@cmca.com.
