TRAVEL ADVISORY...
Sign replacement project begins on US6/Loveland Pass this Monday

CLEAR CREEK/SUMMIT COUNTIES – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin a sign replacement project on Loveland Pass on Monday, July 17 starting at the east end (near Loveland ski area) and working west.

TRAVEL IMPACTS: Traffic will be alternating in one lane and flaggers will be present. Speed limits will remain as posted but please take it slow through the work zone. Crews will be working Monday-Thursday from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

ROAD CLOSURE - CR 73!

An overnight road closure of Country Road 73 south of Evergreen between Wonderview Avenue and S. Skyline Drive is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM Thursday, July 20th and run through 7:00 AM on Friday, July 21st, 2017.

This closure is in support of the removal and replacement of 3 storm water culverts. A detour route is available to bypass the closure site. Please refer to the attached detour route map for additional details.

2-Day Adams County Inspection Operation Results
The Colorado State Patrol and other law enforcement agencies conducted a two-day truck inspection operation in June. Here are the results:

1,470 vehicles cleared the inspection stations

152 Level I inspections were completed
55 Level II inspections were completed
96 Level III inspections were completed

511 Vehicle Violations
42 Driver Violations
48 Size and Weight Violations

148 Vehicle Out-of-Service Violations
20 Driver Out-of-Service Violations

1 Misdemeanor warrant arrest

Most importantly, no Fatal or Serious Injury CMV involved crashes during both operation days.
