Congratulations to all the drivers who competed in the 2018 Colorado Truck Driving Championships! It was a beautiful Colorado day, and everyone had a great time.

The first place winners will move on to National Competition being held in Columbus OH in August.

FMCSA Announces Clarifying Regulatory Guidance for Transportation of Agriculture Commodities, Personal Conveyance

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) today announced new regulatory guidance clarifying the longstanding 150 air-miles hours-of-service agricultural commodity exemption as well as providing additional explanatory detail of the “personal conveyance” provision.

“Due to input from commercial vehicle stakeholders and the public, the Department has taken steps to provide greater clarity and flexibility regarding the intent and effect of these regulations, for the agricultural and other sectors,” said U.S. Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Safety Improvements to Begin on US 160 Wolf Creek Pass

Scenic overlook will be fully closed through project’s completion  in September 2018

MINERAL COUNTY - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and contractor Structures, Inc., will begin a project next week on Monday, June 4, to upgrade safety barrier, signage and striping on a section of US 160 over Wolf Creek Pass. The various work areas lie between mile point (MP) 158, near the Treasure Falls parking area, and MP 173, about five miles east of the ski area.
