CMCA Schedule Changes:
Upon the recommendation of the CMCA Board, CDC, the State of Colorado and CMCA’s COVID-19 Internal policy, we have decided to make several changes to our schedule of events. This decision was not made lightly, but the health, safety and security of our attendees remains our top priority. Please note the following changes:

NATSO, representing the travel plaza and truckstop industry, issued the following statement today confirming that its members remain open and continue to serve the professional drivers who are transporting supplies and goods in support of COVID-19 emergency relief.

Colorado TopTech- Postponed
Due to the growing concerns of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) CMCA has decided to postpone the April 4, 2020 TopTech Competition. We will not be able to reschedule this event until a later date. This decision was not made lightly, but the health, safety and security of all our participants, volunteers and sponsors remain a top priority.
CMCA will be working with Lincoln Tech and the TopTech Committee to determine alternative dates. Once we confirm the new dates, we will give you adequate time to review and confirm your attendance.
CMCA will apply all registration fees and sponsorship commitments to the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date you may transfer your registration to another competitor or CMCA will refund you.

Roadside Exmaination of Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse Status
Summary
This Inspection Bulletin provides directions to enforcement personnel on verifying a driver’s status based on data from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Commercial Driver’s License Drugand Alcohol Clearinghouse. This bulletin is for enforcement personnel who stop drivers with a commercialdriver’s license (CDL) or a commercial learner’s permit (CLP) for a driver/vehicle examination (roadside inspection). It only applies to CDL or CLP holders.

April 1, 2020, this violation will be an out-of-service condition in the Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Alliance North American Standard Out-of-Service Criteria and the driver will be placed out of service if found in a prohibited status. |
