ELD Enforcement Begins April 1st

A short reminder to all motor carriers who fall under the ELD mandate that full enforcement begins on Sunday, April 1st.  This includes violations, citations, being placed out-of-service, and having violations counted in your Safety Profile.

There are a number of exemptions and exceptions that can be found at www.fmcsa.dot.gov, but most carriers must be in full compliance.

Please make sure your ELDs are in good working order, that you have a backup paper log book in the truck, and your drivers are fully aware of how to work the ELD, and also know how to pull up information / transfer information to roadside officers.
