ELD Full Compliance Date Approaching—Tips to help you transition: Carriers currently using a grandfathered Automatic On-Board Recording Device may do so until December 16, 2019 -- after which only compliant Electronic Logging Devices must be used. FMCSA indicated this deadline will not be extended, as early adopters of AOBRD technology were given a two-year window to become compliant with the ELD final.
ATA encourages members who have not yet converted to ELDs to work with their vendors and avoid delay in making the transition. To assist in the the transition, ATA has worked with membership to create a
list of best practices for the migration process. |
