HazMat Routing Petition - Weld County

(Kersey Road)

 

Public Notice is hereby given pursuant to §42-20-302 (4), Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS), that a petition has been filed with the Colorado State Patrol to reinstate the “petroleum exemption” and to institute the “crude oil exemption” on the following public roadway:

  • Weld County Road 49, between US-34 and I-76

A petition has been filed with the Colorado State Patrol by the Weld County Board of County Commissioners that would allow for commercial motor vehicles transporting gasoline, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas and crude oil in quantities requiring a placard on the designated route.

CMCA Approved for VIN Verifications

 

After a brief hiatus due to rulemaking deadlines, CMCA is once again approved to conduct VIN Verifications for Commercial Vehicles.

 

Cost is $25 per vehicle.  Contact CMCA to schedule your Verification at 303-433-3375, ext. 101 or email patti@cmca.com.  We are available to come to your location based on schedules.

 

As a reminder, you will need VIN Verifications on all commercial vehicles (tractors / trailers) purchased out of state for in-state registration, or to move vehicle registrations from county to county.

CDC Updates COVID-19 Guidance for Long-Haul Truck Drivers

 

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated its guidance document, “What Long-Haul Truck Drivers Need to Know about COVID-19.” The guidance explains that for long-haul truck drivers, potential sources of exposure include having close contact with truck stop attendants, store workers, dock workers, other truck drivers, or others with COVID-19, and touching your nose, mouth, or eyes after contacting surfaces touched or handled by a person with COVID-19. The CDC also notes that employers should have a COVID-19 response plan to protect drivers, following CDC Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers.  Learn More...
