CARRIERS URGED TO PARTICIPATE IN TECH-CELERATE ADAS SURVEY

The American Transportation Research Institute  – working with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and other trucking industry stakeholders – is researching trucking safety technologies that are often described as “advanced driver assistance systems” (ADAS). The FMCSA-sponsored program, better known as Tech-Celerate Now, is documenting carrier and truck driver issues and opportunities that can speed up, or slow down, adoption of these technologies in trucks. The research team is now conducting the second survey of carriers and drivers to better understand how ADAS awareness and perspectives have changed since the program commenced.  Results of the survey will be released in early 2022.

Carriers can take the survey by visiting HERE.
