10 Tips for a successful OSHA inspection

The thought of an OSHA inspection can keep business owners and risk managers up at night. Could you be on their list of workplaces to visit? Will OSHA give you notice they’re planning an inspection? Are you ready to talk about how you mitigate your site’s top hazards?

Join us for the Foundation Holiday Party

The Foundation Board invites you to join them at their Holiday Party on Thursday, December 1^st.

As in the past, we will hold a Silent Auction to benefit the Foundation’s scholarship, safety and image programs. New this year is an “Ugly Sweater Contest”!

Tickets are $45/person or $80/couple. Tickets include wine & beer tasting, buffet dinner and silent auction. Entry into the Ugly Sweater Contest is an additional $20.

We will once again be auctioning off wonderful items – headlining the auction is a Hockey Stick signed by Avalanche’s own Miko Rantanen, donated by KeyBank!

FMCSA COVID-19 Waivers Expire

COVID-19 Waivers are no longer in effect as of October 15, 2022. The National Emergency Declaration was set to expire on the 15th, and FMCSA has not issued any extensions.

Reminder to Chain Up!

Looks like this weekend weather is giving us a sneak peek of what's in store for us this #winter. Just a reminder: Colorado State Patrol, are looking for Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) to carry chains when driving on #I70 in the mountains as required by state law.

All CMVs will be required to obey specific signage directing them into a checkpoint on October 26, 2022 - 8am 4pm.

Penalty for CMV non-compliance with winter driving restrictions: Up to a $500 fine plus a $79 surcharge or, if you are stuck and blocking any traveled portion of the roadway the fine is $1,000 plus a $157 surcharge.
