This will be a wonderful community (three churches, lots of youth) event that will include delicious food, drinks, an interactive theater experience, silent auction, and raffle items.

Please help support this event by attending and contributing silent auction and raffle basket items. Items can be dropped off in the church office - please call first: (503) 617-9526.

Please include your name, the value of the item and any other information you would like to add, and we will follow up with a tax deductible receipt. Additionally, the committee will gratefully accept monetary donations if you prefer.

               Service and Missions Team
                        Barrel of the Month

The month of April the Service and Missions Team will be collecting gently used or new books for elementary age children. The team will be looking into Title 1 schools that will need these resources for their students to have summer reading.

Your generosity these past few years with this program has been so wonderfully received - we hope to collect 500 books. That sounds like a lot, but we have been able to do this in the past!

Thank you, these books are truly a blessing to the children.

So it is with children who learn to read fluently and well: They begin to take flight into whole new worlds as effortlessly as young birds take to the sky. —William James
