               Service and Missions Team
                 Barrel of the Month
                           Continues through May

The Service and Missions Team has been collecting gently used or new books for elementary age children and will continue the Book Drive through May. We are currently reaching out to Title 1 schools in the area that will need these resources for their students to have summer reading.

Please help us reach our goal of 500 books!

So it is with children who learn to read fluently and well: They begin to take flight into whole new worlds as effortlessly as young birds take to the sky. —William James

WINGS (Women In God's Service) News:

Approximately 15 women came together at church last Saturday to create their own version of Yard Art spearheaded by Marcia Branch. Everyone came away with at least one beautiful piece of art to adorn their yard. It was a fun morning with people helping each other and cheering each other on!

(Stay tuned for upcoming WINGS events)

The Open Spirit Gallery is now accepting applications for the church community summer art show during the months of June and July! All art forms are encouraged.
