3rd Sunday of Advent

This week for
Faith Conversation Hour...
Your Invitation Has Arrived!
Plan to join us as we take all the generous donations of hats, scarves, gloves, socks and snacks and assemble the 100 Kringle Bags. We will add a special touch to each bag with handmade cards. The bags will then be ready for everyone to take and hand out to those they see in need. Come share the LOVE this Sunday as we think of those less fortunate in our community.
The "Give a Gift" donation program will be available after service in the Commons. Make a donation in someone's name and we will give you a gift card to present to them. Great way to support outreach programs and a new twist on gift giving. "Give a Gift" will run every Sunday through Dec. 23rd.

The 2nd Sunday of Advent we each played a PIECE in the creation of our doves. Special prayers of PEACE for our world, community and families are displayed in our latest Advent worship art. We hope you take some time to view the prayers of your church community. Each Sunday, part of our worship service will include the opportunity to add our prayers "together" to form a piece of art that decorates our worship area this Christmas season.

Budget numbers are included in this Sunday's bulletin to keep you posted on our "Double Down December" goal.
As a reminder, all offerings and gifts need to be postmarked or received by December 31st to be included in your tax donation records from the church. This would include stock options- which take approximately 7 days to process.

Currently, our 9:30 AM combined worship service is planned to continue through January 6th. We will make an announcement on December 30th, after considering all member feedback, for moving forward with this service time.
If you have not shared your thoughts (positive or negative) on the combined worship service time of 9:30 AM, please look for a Council member this Sunday and voice your opinion. We value what you have to say!

Next week , Dec.23
Worship Service will be a celebration of JOY as we include our ChristKids & Friendship Club, Guitar Geezers and their students, and special songs of the season by some of our youth and families.
Faith Conversation Hour...
We will practice a few carols in the Commons and share great treats, then our Faith Conversation Hour hits the road to share the JOY with residents at care facilities. Maps will be provided.

Be sure to pick up Christmas Eve invitations, located in the Entry, to share with friends and neighbors.

August 23-25 for the All Church Camp Out!
