Summer Preaching Series Continues
Stay after worship for prayer and conversation on the book. Pastor David will be leading us in reflecting and discussing Chapter Eleven - An Alternative Mind.
Read the discussion questions on
p. 146, samples below:
"Most people do not see things as they
are, they see things as
they are!"(p.95). What blinds you from seeing things through the lens of truth?
"Basically prayer is an exercise in
divine participation - you opting in and God always there!"(p.97). When have you experienced God's presence in prayer?
Don't forget - Audio sermons, PowerPoints and Bible readings from the series are available
online here. |

About Veronica:
Veronica Carllson, born in Hillsboro Oregon, says photography captures the essence of beauty she sees around her in people, places and things. She sees it everywhere and wants to share it with the world. Veronica is drawn to Black and White photography where shadows often hold the spirit of emotions.
Veronica has always had a passion for taking pictures, believing that you can never have too many pictures. She has been thinking about how to make a career out of being an artist for the past two years.
Veronica is a young widow whose husband died in his sleep of a heart problem two years ago leaving her with three very creative
children under the age of 10 who keep her very busy. They are often the subject of her art but her eye is drawn to nature and emotions hidden in the place where light and shadows meet.
Veronica said that if she could do anything she would travel the globe capturing timeless photos, and sharing them through every medium possible.
