This Advent season we will continue our Love Without Limits series, but in a slightly different way. Since this time of year tends to get a bit frantic and stressful, let’s slow down the pace a little and encourage each other to truly enjoy the season and one another. Love [one another] Without Limits is the theme for Advent. During the time right after worship, everyone is invited to participate in traditional Advent family activities designed to foster relationships and center ourselves in the anticipation of the Christmas gift of Emmanuel, God with us.

Carol Sing

Are you one of those people who feels like there is never enough opportunity to sing Christmas Carols during the holiday season? Do you have a favorite carol or two that you really like to sing?
Join us after worship back in the sanctuary for a good old fashioned carol sing.

Saturday, December 24th, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service Celebrate the birth of the Christ Child... Emmanuel, God With Us, this Saturday at 4:30pm.

Sunday, December 25th, Christmas Day Service of Lessons and Carols @ 9:30am

Toy n Joy Drive Update:
Mark Gregg picked up all the toys on Tuesday and brought them to the Hillsboro Fire and Rescue Fire Station. Thank you for making this year's toy drive a success!

Adopted Family Update:

Thank you to everyone that donated for the family in need! The response has been amazingly generous AND quick. We have received all the items on the wish list ahead of schedule. Special thanks to Sherrie Wade and Lois Bizieff for their leadership.

Our Love Without Limits series

continues into the new year!

Beginning in January, 2017…

During this 7-week series, beginning on Sunday, January 8^th, from 10:45am to Noon, we will use Jim Wallis’ book, America’s Original Sin: Racism, White Privilege and the Bridge to a New America, as the focal point for conversations about race in America.

Reading the book will be helpful, but not required, to participate in these discussions. There will be a sign up sheet in the Commons for those who would like to order a copy of the book. The cost is $12.00. Let’s explore how we can work together toward racial justice, healing, and reconciliation in our communities and across the country.
