This Sunday, January 29th, from 10:45am to Noon, we will continue to use Jim Wallis’ book,
America’s Original Sin:
Racism, White Privilege and the Bridge to a New America, as the focal point for conversations about race in America.
For the 3rd session this Sunday January 29th titled 'The Meaning of Repentance and the Beloved Community', we recommend that those who are reading the book read up to chapter 6. Bring your book and your Bible.

Over the last few months you may have heard about the Back 40 Project at worship. The best way to find out more and get involved is to support and participate in the kickoff dinner on 2/15.
There will be sign up sheets in the Commons after worship the next few Sundays. You don't have to sign up for the whole project duration. You can sign up for smaller parts of the project. Hope to see you on February 15th! Questions? Email

If you are interested in learning more about how churches are offering intentional welcome and inclusion to our LGBTQ brothers and sisters, you have an opportunity to attend the Community Celebration of Welcome at West Linn Lutheran Church on Sunday, January 29th, beginning at 5pm.
Pastor David will be attending this celebration and encourage anyone who is interested to join me.
