Micro-Surfacing on NW Five Oaks Drive

Sometime between July 1st and August 28th, the City of Hillsboro will resurface NW Five Oaks Drive with micro-surfacing. On the day of application, the street will be closed between the hours of 7:00am – 5:00pm to vehicle traffic, on-street parking and foot traffic (foot traffic will be allowed on sidewalks only).

An exact date cannot be provided, but the contractor will place notices on the doors 36-72 hours prior to commencement of work.  Should we be notified in a timely manner, we will make every effort to inform ChristChurch members.

Wednesday (7/8) is our next Habitat build. We will be working at Allen Estates again. Note: if you have not already filled out a waver form, you will need to do so and bring it to the site before you will be allowed to help out (you can also fill it out line - the link to it is below). We are being asked to park in the Beaverton Nazarene Church across Hall from the build site.

As usual, bring basic tools, like a work belt, hammer and gloves if you have them. If not, Habitat can provide them. We will probably be framing again. Looks like the weather will be sunny and very warm so bring sun screen.

Work begins at 8:15am and ends at about 4:00. If you can only work part of the day, no problem. Any amount that you can work will be appreciated!

Thanks to Elsa Buchholz, Lunch will again be provided!!!

Please contact John Heffner or Larry Buchholz if you are able to help:

                               John Heffner at heffnerjm@gmail.com or

                                  Larry Buchholz at cktdude@yahoo.com.

The Habitat site this year is again Allen Estates.
More row houses are being built. The site is located at:

12320 SW Sabin St
Beaverton, OR 97008
