SPRING BREAK!
Due to Spring Break, there will be no Faith Conversation offerings this Sunday for any age (ChristKids, Friendship Club, OPUS and CREW or Adults). Enjoy a time of fellowship with coffee, tea, and treats following worship.

Front Porch 2.0 Advisory Team Meeting
The Advisory Team for Front Porch 2.0 will be meeting in the Front Room (conference room) this Sunday at 10:45am.

Lenten Midweek Gatherings: Got Prayer?
Each Wednesday in the season of Lent between Ash Wednesday and Holy Week (March 12-April 9) we will gather at ChristChurch (in the Commons) to share a meal of soup and bread and explore a variety of prayer forms. We
will begin with supper at 6:30pm, have a brief introduction to the prayer style, engage in a time of prayer, and end by 7:30pm. If you would like to stay past 7:30 to spend more time practicing these forms of prayers you are certainly encouraged to do so. Everyone is welcome to be part of this time of prayer and fellowship. These evenings are designed to be family friendly, accessible and engaging for all ages.

Last week we learned about Praying In Color. This Wednesday,
March 26th, we will learn a little about Praying the Scriptures.

Upcoming Wednesdays will cover...
April 2nd -        Walking Our Prayers - Labyrinth
April 9th -         Embodying our Prayers

If you were unable to join us the last two Wednesdays, or would simply like

to explore the themes of 'Singing and Coloring Our Prayers' further, click here
to access our new Faith Formation web page that is in its early stages of development. Follow the links to Singing Our Prayers and Coloring Our Prayers. Check back each week as new content will be added for each of
the five weeks in the series.

If you would like to volunteer to make soup or help with set-up or clean-up for these Wednesday evening gatherings, a sign-up sheet will be in the Commons on Sunday morning.

There are lots of ways to participate in the life of this community in worship, learning, fellowship and service during the season of Lent. For a more complete listing of opportunities pick up a brochure in the Entry.

Council Nominations for 2014-15
We are now receiving nominations to fill three seats on the 2014-2015 Church Council. There are forms in the Entry for you to nominate a person who you feel would be a good candidate. Just fill out the form, fold it in half and place it in the basket. The deadline for receiving nominations is Sunday, April 6th.

Update:
Blain Radford's Eagle Project
Blain’s Eagle Project, an accessibility ramp for our worship space, is well on it's way to becoming a reality. In fact, thanks in large part to your generosity, he has raised the $2,000 needed! Well done, Blain!

The work will take place during Spring Break, Mon-Wed (March 24-26) from 9am to 4pm. To help complete the build out of this project and help Blain reach his goal, look for the sign up sheet in the entry or contact Blain at (503) 830-2475, or Pastor David at pastordavid@comchristchurch.org.
