The offering for Good Friday is going towards Family Promise. Family Promise works to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence. They provide food, shelter, and support services for homeless families.

Save the Dates!

This coming Tuesday, March 29th – Happy hour & movie

Join us at Red Robin (2660 NW 188th Avenue Hillsboro, OR 97124) for Happy Hour at 5:00pm. Then we will make our way to Evergreen Theatre in Tanasbourne to see Miracles from Heaven which starts at 6:50pm. We hope you can join us for Happy Hour and/or the movie. Please email Kris and let her know if you can attend. As always, friends are welcome.


Tuesday, April 12th – Cutting for next Soul Collage

We are meeting at church at 10am to cut pictures that we’ll use for the next Soul Collage. Some of us plan to meet at the Starbucks next to Fred Meyer on Cornelius Pass at 9:30am to get ready for ‘cutting time’! You are invited to join us for both activities.

Thursday May 19th – Labyrinth walk

Meet at the church at 6:15pm to carpool Cindy Kinnie’s home. We will walk the Labyrinth and learn more about it.

Other updates:
We are taking a BUNCO sabbatical for the rest of the year. We will start up again in the fall of 2017 and meet once a quarter.

WINGS is still collecting calendars and magazines for their colorful pictures (National Geographic, Better Homes & Gardens, etc.). There is a collection bin in the Commons for these items. Thank you for your support!

Baby Care Kits for
Lutheran World Relief continues

We are still collecting Baby Care Kit materials in the Commons until the end of the month.

ChristChurch member Shirley Dinger has been assembling Baby Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief for years. Each year, Shirley and a friend assemble at least 80 kits that will benefit mothers and children all over the world. Shirley has enough to make 50 kits but she could still use more blankets, soap and PJs.

We'll be announcing a Sunday in April when the whole congregation will be invited to help assemble the Baby Care Kits after worship!
