ZoomUganda shares the journey of 12 girls from the Uganda village of Matale, who were given 12 cameras and 24 hours in which to tell their own stories through their own lenses. A Photovoice project directed by Julie Resnick of Portland, Oregon, ZoomUganda empowered its participants to stand in the centers of their world and show you the view from there. On Thursday, October 30th, at 7:00pm, Julie and her Nike colleague, Noella  Nalujjuna (who grew up in Matale) will speak at an event open to the public here at ChristChurch.

                            DONORS NEEDED

Sign-up sheets to become a DONOR are now available - look for them in the Narthex or sign on at REDCROSSBLOOD.ORG.  Need something to help you decide?  Each donor gives enough blood to help 3 people in need.  Our goal is to have 30 people donate blood - in a few short hours this will translate in 90 people being helped.  YOU can make a difference.  Please, consider donating.

Making a Difference!
It came to our attention this week that there is a wonderful article about Kristin Kinnie (daughter of Craig and Cindy) in the latest edition of Street Roots about her work in Clackamas County with homeless youth. We are so thankful for people like Kristin who are working hard to make a difference for the people in their community whom our culture treats as ‘the least of these.’ You can access the article by clicking here.

If you have a story to share with our community about the ways you or someone you know is making a difference in their corner of the world, please contact us and we will include it in a future edition of Faith News.
