Great opportunities for all ages 4 yrs through Adult!
I will be away from work for the weekend, starting Thursday (October 10th.) Rhonda and I will be visiting seminary friends down in Anaheim this weekend. Yes, that’s right we’ll be in what some refer to as the Happiest Place on Earth! I’m not sure about that, but we will certainly enjoy catching up with old friends. While I am gone, Steve Delamarter will preach the good word and lead worship on Sunday and Chris Parker will sub for me, teaching our Middle School (CREW) Faith Conversation. Stuart Holland will also be on call should anyone be in need of emergency pastoral assistance. Simply call my cell (emergencies only, please - 971-313-1281) and I will relay the information to Stuart. Have a great weekend and I’ll be back in the office on Tuesday!
Discernment Update: Ministry Focus Groups
It has been so wonderful to experience the energy and enthusiasm generated by the five new ministry focus groups that were formed at our Discernment Gathering. It has also been fun to see how their goals overlap and reveal the heart of our community. In broad strokes there is a lot of emphasis on making Connections, celebrating and utilizing our Gifts, and the centrality of engaging, participatory Worship for our community. Check out the reports generated by each of our five groups:

*Caring, Giving, Sharing, Serving * Learning
