Solomon's Wisdom

Scripture Reading for this Sunday:
1 Kings 3:4-28

ZoomUganda shares the journey of 12 girls from the Uganda village of Matale, who were given 12 cameras and 24 hours in which to tell their own stories through their own lenses. A Photovoice project directed by Julie Resnick of Portland, Oregon, ZoomUganda empowered its participants to stand in the centers of their world and show you the view from there. On Thursday, October 30th, at 7:00pm, Julie and her Nike colleague, Noella  Nalujjuna (who grew up in Matale) will speak at an event open to the public here at ChristChurch.

Thank You to Joe Hustad, Karen Bender, Ron Boothby and Dick Dinger for their work in planting over 70 bulbs that will bloom this spring, with the hope they will bloom around Easter.

We are a group of women who are eager to build new friendships with other women in our church, strengthen the friendships we already have, and to serve God, each other, and our community.

Our October activity was to gather together at the home of Bobbie Gregg for lunch and then on to Apollini Winery in Banks for wine tasting. About 15 women enjoyed the beautiful weather, fun conversation, and comparing our thoughts about the different wines we tasted. A fun time was had by all!!
