Calling all who seek the abundant life…
In the tenth chapter of John’s gospel, Jesus says,
“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
Don’t we all want to have the abundant life?
But what do we mean when we talk about the abundant life?
What does the world tell us about the abundant life?
What does Jesus mean by the abundant life?
Calling all who seek the abundant life to gather at St. Luke Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 23rd, for coffee, pastries, and conversation with Dr. David Lose.
If that name sounds familiar to you, it is because David Lose is the author of
Making Sense of Scripture, a book that several members of ChristChurch have studied together over the past year. I have had the opportunity to hear Dr. Lose speak in a variety of settings and I always come away inspired and hopeful about the future of church in the 21st century.
I plan to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to join in the conversation and I hope you will too.
God’s peace,
Pastor David
