Sunday, September 14th:     Ministry Team Fair / GWOH BBQ

Join us after worship on Sunday, September 14th as we hold a Ministry Team Fair.  Learn more about ChristChurch and how you can participate.  This is an effort to give everyone an opportunity to speak with volunteers and see if there is a team that is a good fit for them. Each team will have a table and can provide information in a variety of ways.

If you would like a table, or have suggestions/ideas for a new Ministry Team, please contact
                                                                     Sallie Bullock,
                                                          email: sgbullo@hotmail.com or
phone her at 503-617-0410 or 503-320-6178 (cell).

We will gather after worship during the Ministry Fair  to share photos and stories of our "God's work. Our hands." experience!  Hamburgers, hot dogs and condiments will be provided for the BBQ - please call or email the church office to sign-up for side dishes or desserts and to let us know how many people to prepare food for.

THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS: WISDOM OF THE TWIN, facilitated by Anke Brandstater.  Using a book written by Lynn Bauman, we will explore the Gospel of Thomas, a non-canonical gospel that was written in the early second century.

DAILY FAITH, facilitated by Rhonda EppelsheimerThis is a weekly discussion centered on issues of faith and daily life. The topics vary from week to week. What are the faith questions you wrestle with? What does it mean to live every day from a Christian perspective?
