Youth Ministry this Sunday Evening:
4th Sunday – Dwelling in the Word
This Sunday evening, from 6-8pm Pastor David
will be leading our high school youth in a discussion of Kings David and Solomon and what their stories tell us about relationship, fidelity and faith. This discussion will prepare us for next week (1st Sunday Activity/Fellowship Night) when we travel to a local movie theater to view The Song,
a film loosely based on the biblical book,
Song of Solomon. (Details to follow next week!)

ZoomUganda shares the journey of 12 girls given 12 cameras and 24 hours in which to tell their own stories through their own lenses. A Photovoice project directed by Julie Resnick of Portland, Oregon, ZoomUganda empowered its participants to stand in the centers of their world and show you the view from there. Julie and colleagues will offer a speak at an event open to the public here at ChristChurch later in the month of October. Details are still being worked out and once the date and time are confirmed we look forward to getting the word out.
