Tech Team in Training

We are looking for volunteers to help out on Sundays in the Tech Booth.  Sound board and PowerPoint operators needed.  Training is provided.  Contact Dave Slack: dave@theslacks.net for more info.

Look for the signup sheets in the Commons to bring "theme" treats and snacks to share.  It's all spelled out and coordinates with our Sunday messages... just pick your favorite!  Volunteers also are needed for coffee.  This is not a hard job-- just scoop in the coffee and press a button!  Have any questions?  Contact Joanne at jmhauseman@comcast.net

for our outreach mission of dispersing support bags to those less fortunate in our area.

Items needed:   warm gloves, hats, scarves, hand warmers, individual box drinks, Vienna sausages (at the $ store), crackers and peanut butter or crackers and cheese.

Don’t have time to shop? Donations accepted and we will do the shopping for you!  Please make checks out to Community of ChristChurch and put KRINGLE in the memo line.  Bring to the display in the Entry through October!

For those of you who knew Jon Bedson... From Carol Wilkerson JON RODNEY BEDSON July 29, 1946-September 20, 2012 Jon Bedson, our curmudgeonly good-natured friend, has left this earth to join Jesus in eternal worship. He passed away quietly on the sofa in his apartment last week while watching TV. Jon was predeceased by his father John L. Bedson in 2004  and is survived by his mother Evelyn Bedson , Santa Ana, CA , his son David Bedson and former wife Kathleen Olmstead, Orange, CA,  and four siblings: Patricia Bedson, Santa Ana, CA, Pamela Dippre, La Junta, CO, Tom (Nancy) Bedson, Costa Mesa, CA, and Deborah Bedson, Costa Mesa, CA and seven nieces and nephews.  Per Jon's wishes, he is being cremated and returned to Southern California. There will be a celebration of Jon’s life at Wilkerson’s home in the near future.  Jon’s family is in town this week handing the closing of his apartment and many other details.
