New Year and New Work from Eggtooth
|

It is a new year and we are making new plans at Eggtooth Originals. Karen is refining her techniques and "taking her jewelry making to a new level" at Revere Jewelry Arts Academy in San Francisco. Jack is working with some new woods and drawing up plans for furniture and wood accessories never before offered. Our list of festivals this year will include some old favorites as well as some new additions. We will announce them in our newsletter and post them at our website as acceptance notifications begin in early spring. |

Karen is continuing her work using lovely, natural River Stones collected from Big Lagoon in Northern California. These stones wash up on the beach, perfectly smooth and with a slight, beautiful polish. They project a sense of calm and mystery.
Karen makes river stone pendants by attaching each stone to a textured sterling silver disc using a handmade silver rivet. The pendants hang from a hidden tube bail, attached at the back of the pendant so as not to interrupt the lovely circle of silver.

Here is a new, fun, flirty earring from Eggtooth. It features handmade sterling silver hoops that have been hammered for shine and texture, then oxidized for a near-black color. They are accompanied by dyed, faceted blue quartz beads on oxidized sterling head pins. All hang from handmade silver French ear wires.
We currently have one pair left, available at our on-line store and our Etsy jewelry shop.

Back in the shop after a great season of adventure and wonderful shows. Jack is working on commission pieces and developing new designs for the upcoming year.
