Decide
Make the decision, and then make a start, just imagine where you could be in 4 weeks, remember; the time will pass anyway!
Move often
Whatever you do, do it often, going all out for one hour, once or twice a week is less likely to get results and can lead to injury.
HIIT it
Get some high intensity intervals into your training. That means working
hard to a point of 9 out of 10 on the exercise effort scale for several short periods of 30-60 seconds during your workouts.
Do resistance
Body weight, kettle bells, dumbbells, boxing, bands, Pilates, research proves you MUST do something like this for lasting, visible results
Eat & drink well
A whole food diet. and lots of water.
Really want results? ditch all added sugars
and the booze for one month!
Rest
Vital to prevent over training. Have at least one rest day per week.
This is when your body makes the real changes.
Photographs last... so, if you have an event looming that requires you getting into photo shape...why not take some expert coaching and wow everyone there!

New post breast cancer Pilates programme on the horizon
I am delighted to be undertaking the Pink Ribbon Program instructor training in Oxford in July. This inspired programme has been developed by a breast cancer survivor and exercise physiologist. The courses will provide gentle and specific Pilates based exercise for all breast cancer survivors. The aim is to support and rehabilitate people to a point where they feel comfortable with joining in with regular exercise.
See a short video of the benefits here
I hope to be rolling out the full programme in September. If you know of anyone who may be interested in joining us or of any health professionals who might like to refer patients, please either forward this email (see below) or contact me via the website.
See you soon
