Greetings from snow-covered Florence,
The holidays have passed and it is time to get back to the business as usual. Early last fall we sent out more than 500 surveys to Florence alumni, instructors and others to identify the strengths , weaknesses and opportunities for the art school. Over the past few months we have been compiling and reviewing the results.
We found that you would like to 1) help identify future instructors and workshop subjects 2) see more beginner level one to two-day courses in a variety of mediums, and 3) find ways to provide more opportunities for the community in both workshops and exhibit space.
Over the next five newsletters we will review the specifics in detail, what our immediate response has been and what we can do together to help shape a successful future for Florence .
