Greetings Friends,

You will find this e-news short and sweet. We are in full swing here at Florence and I wanted to remind you of a few items.

1. Registration deadlines are set two weeks prior to a workshop to enable participants and instructors to properly prepare and solidify travel plans. In some instances registration deadlines will be extended, therefore you should contact the office if a deadline has passed and you are interested in attending.

2. New this year, we are offering a local standby option for Ashe County residents (full or part-time). You need to notify the school at least 30 days prior to the first day of the workshop to be eligible for the reduced rate.

3. Have you attended Florence workshops in the past? Well count your days, because as part of our student loyalty program, when you have attended 9 full days, you will have the opportunity to take the 10th day free!

Between workshops, instructor open houses, paint-outs and local programs for the community, we have a variety of opportunities for you to experience the arts this year.  I hope you will be able to join us for a few.

Sincerely,

Meghan B Minton

Executive Director
