Premier Surfaces NY Reemerges, Rebrands to Solid Surfaces NY
Premier Surfaces NY is rebranding itself back to its roots; Solid Surfaces. Clio Holdings purchased Solid Surfaces Inc. in January of 2017 and branded the company under the Premier Surfaces umbrella, which consisted of five other East Coast fabricators. During the following three years, the Rochester Division, serving Rochester and Buffalo, was integrated into a more standardized process that was employed by the collective organization and the Clio Holdings team. In January, Clio Holdings closed and all six fabrication facilities were shuttered. In March, the assets of the Rochester Division were purchased by Gregg Sadwick who guided the employees and customers through the bankruptcy process and then the COVID-19 shutdown to reestablish the business as Premier Surfaces-NY, retaining all jobs. Then the company decided to get back to the basics, rebranding back to Solid Surfaces NY.

Weha Granite Drywall Carts are great for storing remnants or moving cut pieces from the shop to the remnant rack and back. The Weha Granite Fabrication Shop Carts have been redesigned to work with the large format slabs that are currently being fabricated. Now slabs that are 65-, 70-, and even 80-in. tall are being produced and the traditional carts are not made to handle this height, as they will tip over much easier as the load gets higher. The carts now have a wider wheel base with total width of 28-in. that allows the full weight load of the taller slabs to stay between the wheels, reducing the possibility of flipping over. The weight capacity for the welded fab shop cart remains at 2,000 lbs. Additionally, deck storage space has been extended from 12- to 14-in.
