The Okura Tokyo received the five-star hospitality rating for a second year in a row in the Forbes Travel Guide 2024. It has also been accepted into the Virtuoso exclusive portfolio. Reprising the Okura legacy with a 2019 remodel, the hotel provides serene Japanese beauty and elegance with outstanding hospitality in a central Tokyo location.
Being Japan's very first UNESCO World Heritage site and the inspiration for the Studio Ghibli film 'Princess Mononoke', Yakushima Island in Kagoshima Prefecture is home to some of the best natural wonders in Japan and is well worth the trip south.

Yakushima has it all; waterfalls, ancient forests, pristine coastlines, and crystal-clear waters. Although not as easily accessible as other parts of Japan, its remote location means Yakushima has remained relatively untouched and never feels too touristy.
